Zeesen ASB Workshop
ASB Regionalverband Mittel-Brandenburg e.V. (the Central Brandenburg Regional Association of the Workers' Samaritan Federation) is a non-political and non-denominational not-for-profit aid and welfare organization working in the heart of Brandenburg. ASB and its members are active in all areas of social welfare. With residential care facilities, day-care centres and many other services, the association provides support for senior citizens and people in need. Its remit also includes the care and support of people with disabilities, children and adolescents, as well as a variety of counselling services and innovative projects. In addition, it is involved in many areas of the rescue service – from emergency medical transport, disaster relief and water rescue through to first aid training. The Central Brandenburg Regional Association, which has been working in the region since 20 September 1990, now has over 5,300 members and, with more than fifty facilities, is one of the largest employers south of Berlin.
