bab Unternehmensberatung GmbH

Three Questions for Mag. Renate Divitschek, Executive Management

    What was your starting point?
We are a consulting firm with projects that have initial specifications that are extremely diverse, which is also reflected in the billing arrangements. On the one hand, we receive information from many different sources and, on the other, the records and the billing vary greatly. The challenge was to find a common denominator in all this so that we could produce evaluations quickly.

    What are your highlights?
A particular highlight of the software is that we can narrow down the time span quickly and specifically to analyse data from the preceding years. In addition, the software always provides a comprehensive overview of all projects, which greatly increases the transparency and efficiency of our project management.

    What lessons have you learned?
    - Check the access rights carefully and configure them properly right from the start.

    - Allow sufficient time and define a clear process for the implementation.

    - It's also a good idea to clarify whether a trial run is possible so that the processes can be tested in advance.

"The diverse nature of our data and our evaluations which, though already perfectly good, were also rather complex, meant that it was time for a change. In our search for software that would help us with our tasks while being affordable for an SME, CP was recommended to us. We're still in the process of setting it up: it's clear that the software won't be enough on its own. Once we've built the structure and entered the data, we're hoping to make savings down the line."
