NBG Holding GmbH

    Three Questions for Daniel Kitzler

    What was your starting point?

At the beginning, the group consisted of about 10 companies with different source systems, including SAP B1, BMD, SAP Business ByDesign, and an American financial accounting system. The main purpose of Corporate Planner is to harmonize these different systems, create comparability, and enable integrated financial planning both at individual company level and for the group as a whole.

    What are your highlights?

Our highlights are the automated data integration from any source systems as well as how intuitive the software is to use. We particularly appreciate the integrated financial planning, which makes creating scenarios quick and easy. What's more, the consolidation tool provides us with precisely the functions we need for modelling our group of companies.

    What lessons have you learned?

Thanks to the excellent support from Corporate Planning, we were able to realize the project quickly and successfully. We had already implemented Corporate Planner in another company, so our experience with the system and the familiarity we had developed served to speed up the implementation process even further. From our experience, we'd recommend investing enough time in the planning and also, perhaps, allowing for an optimization loop – for an even more efficient implementation and to ensure the best possible results.
