The Peppermint Group develops innovative textiles across the entire value chain for the corporate, protection, mobility, industry, interior and fashion sectors. The industrial group, run by the General Managing Partners Ingeborg Neumann and Marcus Baumbach, was founded in 1997 and is based in Berlin. Ingeborg Neumann also volunteers her time for the industry in her role as President of the Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion Industry. With over 600 employees and seven locations in Europe, of which four are in Germany, the Peppermint Group generates an annual turnover of approximately €90m. Innovation is the driver of the group’s success – even beyond the world of textiles. The group is involved with various start-ups as well as two German venture capital funds that invest in young technology companies in the fields of life sciences and medical technology.
