What was your starting point?Previously, we used Excel for our reporting and for billing our funding provider. This was an extremely time-consuming and error-prone procedure, which meant that it was no longer manageable for us, so a suitable system was urgently needed.
What were your highlights?
Corporate Planner is flexible, can be customized and is intuitive to use. What’s more, we can expand and improve the system ourselves. Corporate Planning also takes customer requests on board on an ongoing basis and with a very practical approach and is constantly making improvements to the software.
What lessons have you learned?
Don’t spend ages tinkering about in Excel – so to speak – far better to put a bit more time into building a structure and then to have everything ready at the touch of a button for years! You should also resist the temptation to produce a “rough and ready” visualization in Excel without using Corporate Planner, even if that does mean a little extra preliminary work.
