Landesholding Burgenland GmbH
Three Questions for Siegfried Kassl
What was your starting point?
Our group quarterly reporting was previously done in Excel. The manual data input, which was rather error-prone, resulted in low data quality and a lot of work checking it afterwards. This left us with very little time for the analysis itself. Our consolidated financial statements were also a huge amount of work, for which we needed support from external consultants.
What are your highlights?
We appreciate the balance between structure and flexibility in Corporate Planner, in particular the charts of accounts for each of the individual companies and the evaluation using the group chart of accounts. Alongside our standardized group-wide reporting, we can also produce individual reports.
What lessons have you learned?
A high level of flexibility and a consistent structure can go hand in hand. For instance, we standardized our reporting very quickly. At the same time, we can still produce individual reports. We have also identified clear potential for improvement in the evaluation and analysis of our consolidated financial statements, as well as in the transparency and comprehensibility for the group auditors. We're very satisfied with our decision to use Corporate Planner.
